We were in the area and needed a place to each lunch. A friend had said they had the best barbecue. It's not the fanciest looking place but the barbecue is out of this world. I got the jumbo bbq plate with bake beans and fried. Hands down the most wonderful and amazing barbecue around. I'm getting married this next month and they are gonna cater bbq at our wedding!

Whiting (pantrout) is my favorite, and Lamar's cooks it just right!! So so good. And the hush puppies and fried okra are delicious sides. Chefs kiss

Lanar's has some of the best BBQ in Northeast Mississippi. It's so good it should be preserved as a historic landmark. Make sure to grab a rib plate. Lamar is on top of his game. Often imitated, but never replicated.

BBQ was awesome! I was passing through town and was craving Barbeque and Lamar’s did not disappoint. They were quick and so friendly. Will definitely be back passing through town again! Fries were also on point!

Lamar's has some of the best BBQ & fried catfish with hush puppies and fried okra. I'm from Wisconsin and was in Mississippi visiting, I've been here to eat twice in the last 7days. Good finger licking slab of ribs & they taste just as good the next day. I'll always come from Wisconsin to visit this place from now on.
